Depart the USA on your overnight flight. Day 2 Enroute Day 3 Arrive Sydney Arrive in Australia’s beautiful harbor city of Sydney where you will be met and transferred to the All Seasons Premier Menzies Hotel Sydney. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Day 4 Sydney (BL) Your full day tour begins at Seaforth Lookout before heading into Manly for a look at some of the famous northern beaches. Then the sounds of the harbor come alive as you enjoy a luncheon cruise. Back on land, visit Darling Harbour before stopping at world famous Bondi Beach. Day 5 Sydney (BD) Time to explore on your own during a full day at leisure. Or perhaps add an optional tour to the Koala Park Sanctuary. Tonight, enjoy a seafood dinner at the Waterfront Restaurant. Day 6 Sydney-Melbourne (B) Fly to Melbourne and transfer to the Savoy Park Plaza Melbourne. An afternoon drive takes you to Phillip Island for a treat as you watch the evening parade of the Fairy Penguin. As dusk falls, watch the waves as these comical little sea-birds make their way in from sea to their nests. Day 7 Melbourne-Adelaide (B) An early morning tour of Melbourne takes you to the Fitzroy Gardens and Captain Cook’s Cottage before your afternoon flight to Adelaide where you will stay at The Chifley on South Terrace. Day 8 Adelaide (Barossa Valley) (BL) pend the day exploring the delightful wine region of the Barossa Valley. Day 9 Adelaide (Kangaroo Island) (BL) Today’s full day excursion begins with a light aircraft flight to Kangaroo Island. Begin with a visit to Seal Cove to see the sea lions before stopping for lunch at Kaiwarra Farm. Then it’s on to Flinders Chase National Park to visit Remarkable Rocks and Admiral’s Arch before flying back to Adelaide. Day 10 Adelaide-Alice Springs (B) A flight takes you to the center of Australia and the Rydges Plaza Hotel Alice Springs. This afternoon, take a short tour of the city. Day 11 Alice Springs-Ayers Rock (B) After an early morning departure, stop to visit a Camel Farm before an afternoon arrival at the Olgas, an impressive group of 36 “domes” jutting out in the middle of the desert. Then continue to Ayers Rock for a magical view at sunset before settling in at the Desert Gardens Ayers Rock. Day 12 Ayers Rck (Kings Canyon) (B) An early morning drive takes you through sand dune country to Kings Creek Station. A 3-hour walking tour of Kings Canyon will reveal spectacular scenery. Return to Ayers Rock in the late afternoon. Day 13 Ayers Rock-Cairns (B) This morning, enjoy a tour around the base of the Rock before departing on your flight to Cairns, gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. Accommodations are at the Oasis Resort Cairns. Day 14 Cairns (Great Barrier Reef) (BL) A full day excursion takes you on a delightful cruise to the Outer Reef. You will anchor at Agincourt Reef for time to swim, snorkel and have lunch. Day 15 Cairns (Kuranda Excursion) (BL) The Kuranda Scenic Rail takes you to Kuranda Village for time to explore on your own before continuing to Rainforestation for lunch and an Aboriginal dance performance. Tour the rainforest and visit the Wildlife Park for a glimpse of the kangaroos and koalas. Day 16 Cairns-USA Depart for the USA, arriving later this same day.
