An overnight flight takes you to London this evening. Day 2 Enroute Arrive in London this morning where the day is at leisure until you continue on the early evening overnight flight to Cape Town. Day 3 Arrive Cape Town Welcome to South Africa! After landing in Cape Town, you'll be met and transferred to your hotel, located on Cape Town's beautiful waterfront. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax and get acquainted with the area. Of course, we can offer suggestions for an afternoon activity or perhaps a fun dining experience this evening. Day 4 Cape Town (B) A full day of private touring begins with a visit to Table Mountain to take the cable-car ride up to the top where breathtaking views of Cape Town await. Then, you drive takes you to Hout Bay where you might like to take an optional tour to Seal Island. It's on to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, filled with some of South Africa's most beautiful flora and fauna. We'll return to Cape Town where we stop for lunch (on your own account) before visiting the Two Oceans Aquarium, which specializes in the marine fauna and flora off South Africa's coast. Day 5 Cape Town (B) The day is at leisure. You might want to add an optional visit to Stellenbosch and the Spier Cheetah Rehabilitation Center. Your visit helps the work of the Cheetah Conservation Fund and it's great fun to actually get up close and personal with these amazing cats. Day 6 Cape Town-Hazyview (BD) This morning, fly to Mpumalanga where a road transfer takes you to your lodge along the banks of the Sabie River. The afternoon is leisure to enjoy the surroundings -- perhaps a dip in the pool? Later, a treat awaits as you attend a special cultural show complete with Shangaan dance and song, along with dinner including traditional South African dishes. Day 7 Hazyview - Elephant Interaction (B) Today, you intereact with the elephants! What an adventure awaits as you "meet and interact" with elephants who have ben rescued from culling operations and now help educate adults and children alike about the importance of protecting our wildlife. You'll spend an hour visiting with the group of six elephants, including Lindiwe, the youngest in the herd and Tembo, the giant head of the herd. Kids will love learning how elephants greet each other and especially how to give them tasty treats. Day 8 Hazyview-Private Game Reserve (BLD) You'll be driven to Karongwe Game Reserve (bordering Kruger National Park) and your luxury lodge in the midst of the reserve. Settle in before afternoon tea and coffee and your first evening game drive. With more than 9,000 hectares to traverse, you'll have fun looking for the Big Five, plus much more. Day 9 & 10 Private Game Reserve (BLD) Two full days at Shaduli give you plenty of time to relax plus enjoy a variety of activities. Early morning game drives give you an opportunity to see the bush "awaken" as animals come to life and search for food and water. You might also like to take a bush walk with an experienced ranger. There's no better way to learn about the other parts of the African bush -- trees, tracks, birdlife and much more. One evening you'll have dinner in the boma, a wonderful African custom of eating under the stars with a roaring fire nearby to keep you warm.Day 11 Johannesburg-Depart (B) A scheduled flight takes you to Johannesburg today where you connect to the overnight flight to London. Day 12 Arrive USA Touchdown in London early this morning and make your way to your connecting USA-bound flight. Welcome Home!
