Depart the USA on your overnight flight to London. Day 2 Enroute Arrive in London early this morning where day rooms are available for you to use to freshen up. Later this evening, depart on the overnight flight to Johannesburg. Heathrow Hilton (Day Room) Day 3 Arrive-Okavango Delta (D) Welcome to South Africa! Collect your bags and continue on a scheduled flight to Livingstone. A light aircraft flight takes you over Victoria Falls and on to Kasane, where you will be assisted to the light aircraft flight to your choice of lodge nestled in the Okavango Delta. From your birds-eye vantage point, you get your first glimpse of the wetland paradise spread out below. Choose from several luxurious camps for your two-night stay. Day 4 Okavango Delta (BLD) Days are unstructured in the Delta. Depending on the water levels, you might choose to game view by water or by land. Some camps offer game walks, a super way to gain a different insight into the wildlife of the area. Day 5 Okavango Delta/Moremi Reserve (BLD) Today a light aircraft flight takes you to the Moremi Reserve in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Depending on your choice of camp, your game viewing activities might be land-based or water-based. On night game drives look for smaller nocturnal animals like Civet, Serval, Pangolin and Aardwolf. Day 6 Moremi Reserve (BLD) Bird-lovers will delight in the Okavango Delta's stunning birdlife such as Pels Fishing Owl, Slaty Egret and Wattled Crane. Enjoy unstructured slow-paced days where the choice of game-viewing or simply relaxing in-camp is up to you. Day 7 Linyanti Reserve (BLD) The 275,000 acre Linyanti Reserve lies northeast of the Okavango Delta and is home to the Savuti Channel. Linyanti is also home to a wide variety of predators and large concentrations of plains game - particularly elephant and migrating zebra. After settling in at your camp, you might enjoy a nature walk along the Linyanti River or perhaps a boat trip to view hippos. Bird-lovers will delight in the search for carmine bee-eaters, redbilled woodhoopoes, emeraldspotted doves, darters and fish eagles. Linyanti is also one of the few spots in Botswana where you might spot the stunning Narina trogon. Day 8 Linyanti Reserve (BLD) Today you might like to spend time in a hide - a unique enclosure that provides an "up-close" look at what it feels like to be in the center of a herd of elephant. Roan, Sable, Giraffe, Wild Dog and Cheetah are just a few of the animals you might spot today. Day 9 Linyanti Reserve-Victoria Falls (B) Bid farewell to this paradise. A light aircraft flight takes you back to Kasane from where you continue by road to Livingstone and your tented camp along the Zambezi River. This afternoon, enjoy a sun downer cruise. Day 10 Victoria Falls (B) Begin your day at thundering Victoria Falls where you have the chance to view the falls from various vantage points. You will get wet today, as the mist that results from the 150 million gallon-per minute "wall of water" cascading to the gorge below can be seen from miles around! After lunch, visit a local village and learn how life continues much the same as it has for the past hundred years. Day 11 Victoria Falls-Depart (B) Transfer to Livingstone for the flight to Johannesburg where you connect to the overnight flight back to London. Day 12 Arrive USA Arrive in London early this morning and connect to your USA-bound flight arriving later today.
