Your journey begins today as you depart on the overnight flight to London. Day 2 Enroute Touch down in London this morning where day rooms are available for freshening up. Later this evening, continue on the overnight flight to Cape Town. Day 3 Arrive Cape Town (D) Welcome to South Africa! The beautiful harbor city of Cape Town is a perfect starting point for your southern Africa safari. Upon arrival you will be met and escorted to your luxury hotel on the waterfront. The remainder of the cay is at leisure. Later this evening, treat your taste buds to their first sampling of local cuisine. Day 4 Cape Town (BL) The picturesque winelands provide a wonderful backdrop for today’s full day tour. You’ll have a chance to sample wine from two well known wine estates in Paarl and Stellenbosch. It might tempt you enough to bring some home! Day 5 Cape Town (BL) Enjoy a scenic drive to Camps Bay and a stop at Hout Bay, where you may opt to visit Seal Island. Visit the Cape Point Nature Reserve and the Cape of Good Hope. After lunch, visit the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Day 6 Cape Town-Sabi Sabi (BLD) A scheduled flight takes you to Johannesburg where you board the light aircraft flight into the famous Sabi Sabi Private Reserve. European hunters were first attracted to the Sabi Sands in the late 18th century and by the early 19th century, the coming of the railroad also meant recreational tourists were now able to visit the land now known as the Sabi Sabi Private Reserve. Today, the area is host to some 350 bird species and more than 200 mammal species, including all of the Big Five. Your Ranger will greet you at the airstrip and make sure you are comfortable before reviewing all the possibilities during your stay. Day 7 Sabi Sabi Be ready for the unexpected today as a day on safari always has some surprises! You might want to start your day on an early morning game drive. Just as the sun begins to lighten the sky, the animals of the bush begin their morning. Your tracker and Ranger will carefully examine prints in the sand which might lead to one of the predators or tell a story of what has happend in the night. Day 8 Sabi Sabi-Singita (BLD) After breakfast a short transfer takes you to another part of the Sabi Sand Reserve so you can continue your amazing journey in the bush. Settle into your lodge. This afternoon, perhaps a guided game walk -- one of the most interesting ways to learn about the full circle of life in the bush. Singita Ebony Lodge Day 9 Singita (BLD) Your last day in the bush is filled with anticipation. Whether you are a keen bird-watcher or enjoy plains game or thrill to the site of one of the big cats, you're in luck. It's all here at Singita and your Rangers will help you cross off as many of the animals on your list as possible. Singita Ebony Lodge Day 10 Singita-Johannesburg (B) Bid farewell to the ever exciting Sabi Sand Reserve as your light aircraft flight takes you to Johannesburg. A short private transfer takes you to Rosebank where you will spend the evening. The Grace Day 11 Johannesburg-Victoria Falls (B) The "Smoke that Thunders" awaits you as you fly to Livingstone this morning. A short transfer takes you to your luxury hotel just minutes from Victoria Falls. You might want to relax and take in the views this afternoon - or take a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. The choice is yours. Day 12 Victoria Falls (B) The excitement of the day is to visit the thundering Falls once described by David Livingstone as "Scenes so lovely must have been gazed upon by Angels in Their Flight". An afternoon visit to a nearby villages gives you a unique glimpse into local traditional life. Day 13 Livingstone-Depart Your journey comes to a close as you depart Victoria Falls for Johannesburg where you will connect to the evening flight bound for London. Day 14 Arrive USA Arrive in London this morning and continue on the flight to the USA Welcome Home!
