Day 12 Nairobi-Samburu (BLD) Your adventure begins as your drive takes you north to Samburu and your lodge alongside the Uaso Nyiro River. You’ll have time to settle in before heading out on an afternoon game drive. Later this evening, why not sip a drink at the popular Crocodile Bar and watch the nightly croc feeding. Samburu Lodge Day 13 Samburu (BLD) Samburu is in the heart of Kenya and is home to several specialty species like the reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, beisa oryx and gerenuk. This is also an important elephant migration corridor. The inviting Uaso Nyiro River flowing through the reserve is fringed with giant acacias and is a wonderful spot to find a herd of elephant bathing, drinking and enjoying themselves. Enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives. Samburu Lodge Day 14 Samburu-Aberdares (BLD) After breakfast your drive takes you south into the forests of the Aberdare Mountain range, arriving at the Outspan hotel in time for lunch.
