Day 2  En Route
Arrive in London early this morning where day rooms are available until your evening departure to Johannesburg.
Heathrow Hilton (Day Room)

Day 3  Arrive Johannesburg-Victoria Falls
Welcome to South Africa! A connecting flight in Johannesburg takes you to Livingstone and the Zambian side of Victoria Falls. After settling in at your lodge enjoy a sundowner cruise along the river.
Day 4  Victoria Falls (B)
A highlight of the day is a visit to mighty Victoria Falls. Explorer David Livingstone was led to the Falls in 1854 by the Makokolo who named them Mosi Oa Tunya - “the smoke that thunders.” The Falls are over 5500 feet across and more than 300 feet high. Be prepared to get wet, as the spray of over 150 million gallons of water per minute crashing to the gorge below creates a spray that can be seen from more than 18 miles away! The afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the resort facilities.
Day 5  Victoria Falls-Johannesburg (B)
A short flight takes you to Johannesburg where the remainder of the day is at leisure.
Day 6  Johannesburg-Nairobi (BD)
Fly to Nairobi this morning, where the remainder of the day is at leisure. Later this evening, enjoy a fun evening at the Carnivore Restaurant where you will have an opportunity to sample meats like ostrich and crocodile.
Day 7  Nairobi-Shaba National Reserve (BLD)
Leave Nairobi early this morning, heading north to Naro Moru where you stop for lunch. Cross the equator and continue into Shaba National Reserve, game viewing enroute.
Day 8  Shaba National Reserve (BLD)
In the late 1970’s, Joy Adamson (“Born Free”) experimented with rehabilitating leopards to the wild here in Shaba. More than 280 species of birds have been recorded in Shaba and game viewing may reveal large herds of elephant, as well as gerenuk, waterbuck and oryx.
Day 9  Shaba-Lake Nakuru (BLD)
Early this morning head to the Rift Valley. Stop first at picturesque Nyahururu Falls before arriving in Lake Nakuru in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. As you drive through Lake Nakuru National Park, watch the tree tops for the playful colubus monkey.
Day 10  Lake Nakuru-Masai Mara (BLD)
Your drive this morning takes you first to a Maasai village where you have the opportunity to meet members of this fascinating tribe. Then, continue into Kenya’s most famous reserve, the Masai Mara. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive.
Day 11  Masai Mara (BLD)
The Masai Mara is home to all of the Big Five as well as a wide variety of plains game and birdlife. Keep your game list handy as you are likely to spot zebra, giraffe, buffalo, hyena, and, if lucky, lion, leopard and cheetah.
Day 12  Masai Mara-Depart (BD)
After breakfast, return to Nairobi where the afternoon is at leisure. You'll have time to freshen up in our partner Club Lounge before dinner and a transfer to the airport. Depart later on the overnight flight to London.

Day 13  Arrive USA
Touch down in London this morning where you connect to your USA-bound flight.
