Be prepared to get wet, as the spray of over 150 million gallons of water per minute crashing to the gorge below creates a spray that can be seen from more than 18 miles away! The afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the resort facilities. Day 5 Victoria Falls-Johannesburg (B) A short flight takes you to Johannesburg where the remainder of the day is at leisure. Day 8 Shaba National Reserve (BLD) In the late 1970’s, Joy Adamson (“Born Free”) experimented with rehabilitating leopards to the wild here in Shaba. More than 280 species of birds have been recorded in Shaba and game viewing may reveal large herds of elephant, as well as gerenuk, waterbuck and oryx. Day 9 Shaba-Lake Nakuru (BLD) Early this morning head to the Rift Valley. Stop first at picturesque Nyahururu Falls before arriving in Lake Nakuru in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. As you drive through Lake Nakuru National Park, watch the tree tops for the playful colubus monkey.
