 Depart New York on the overnight flight to London. (Note: Due to flight connections, passengers departing from the West Coast may have to leave one day earlier and overnight in London.) Day 2 Arrive Nairobi Arrive in London early this morning where you connect to the Nairobi-bound flight. Upon arrival into Nairobi this evening, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Nairobi Safari Park Day 3 Nairobi-Masai Mara (BLD) Leaving Nairobi after breakfast, you’ll travel towards Kenya’s fertile highlands and head down the Rift Escarpment. You’ll pass the impressive Longonot earth satellite station as you head across the Valley to Narok, and then on to the Masai Mara for a 2-night stay. Enjoy lunch and then head out on your first game drive in Kenya’s most famous reserve. Keep your eyes open, as there is always something to discover. Mara Sopa Lodge Day 4 Masai Mara (BLD) Enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives today. Mara Sopa Lodge Day 5 Masai Mara-Great Rift Valley (BLD) Leaving the Masai Mara after breakfast with a picnic lunch, you’ll travel across the ‘breadbasket’ of Kenya, past Narok and on to the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley. Watch for herds of giraffe and gazelle as you head up the Mau Escarpment, before arriving at Lake Nakuru. The waters here are often coloured shimmering flamingo pink, from thousands of the beautiful birds lining its shores. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in Nakuru National Park before continuing to the Lake Naivasha for dinner and overnight. Day 6 Great Rift Valley-Amboseli (BLD) Leaving Lake Naivasha behind, enjoy the spectacular views as you travel out of the Great Rift Valley and on through Kenya's highlands. Stop for a picnic lunch in Nairobi before heading southeast to Amboseli National Park. The park sits at the foot of majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, and is probably most well known for its elephants. Game drive enroute to your lodge. Amboseli Sopa Lodge Day 7 Amboseli (BLD) Rise early to get the first glimpse of Mt. Kilimanjaro as the cloud cover lifts. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives today. Amboseli Sopa Lodge Day 8 Amboseli-Depart (BD) Following an early breakfast, you'll catch your last views of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro as you depart Amboseli viewing game en route to the border of the park and on to Nairobi. A stop at the Karen Blixen Museum provides time to walk the grounds and picture life in the days the famous author of "Out of Africa" lived here. Then it's on to feed the giraffes at the Giraffe Center. Enjoy dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant before transferring to the airport for the overnight flight to London. Day 9 Arrive USA Arrive in London this morning where you connect to the USA-bound flight, arriving later today.
