Choice of Accommodations Day 5 Sydney (B) Today’s free day gives you time to explore parts of Sydney on your own - or perhaps add an optional tour to the Rocks, packed with historic old buildings. Choice of Accommodations Day 6 Sydney-Alice Springs (B) Fly into Central Australia and Alice Springs, the unofficial capital of the Outback. The town was founded in 1871 by telegraph workers who traveled over 992 miles from Adelaide and settled next to a water hole “oasis” in the midst of the desert. An afternoon tour stops at highlights like the Alice Springs Telegraph Station and the Aboriginal Art & Culture Centre. Choice of Accommodations Day 7 Alice Springs-Ayers Rock (B) Depart by road early this morning and stop at a Camel Farm. The camel was key to opening up much of Australia’s innermost regions.
